The RFM module gives you a complete overview of who your best customers are, who's at risk of leaving and who has already gone. It's automatically calculated based on purchasing behaviour. No manual analysis, just action at the right time.
How it works
RFM stands for Recency, Frequency and Monetary Value. Three data points you already have: when someone last purchased, how often and for how much. tritonX automatically combines those data points into a score per customer and divides your customer base into dynamic segments.
Recently active, high frequency, high value.
Consistent purchasing behaviour, strong relationship.
Declining activity, at risk of leaving.
Long inactive, reactivation needed.
Why is it relevant?
Targeted messages to the right segment consistently outperform broad communications. Lower cost per conversion, higher relevance.
Segments are automatically updated with every transaction when you've set this up via triggers. You'll never have to export a list or recalculate again, saving you time.
Each RFM segment can be used directly as a target audience for campaigns, triggers or social advertising without an extra step.
Because tritonX combines all channels, the RFM score is based on the customer's real total behaviour. Not just online or just offline.

Frequently asked questions
Can't find your question? Feel free to contact us, we'd be happy to think it through with you
Once tritonX is linked to your till system or webshop, we analyse the available customer and transaction data. Based on this analysis, we set up the RFM model and build the associated segments. After the model is set up, the first segments are usually available within a day. Depending on the available data and implementation planning, you can typically expect this a few weeks after going live.
Our Success Managers will conduct a baseline measurement, after which the threshold values for Recency, Frequency and Monetary will be set in consultation.
Yes. tritonX combines store and webshop data in one customer profile. The RFM score is based on total purchasing behaviour, not on a single channel.
Each segment can be directly used as a target group for a campaign, trigger or social advertising. Use triggers to perform automatic actions based on segments, such as assigning coupons or sending reminders.
